hyworx receives approval for state funding from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania

May 27, 2026

hyworx has received a funding commitment from the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania for the development of a 100 kW PEM electrolysis stack. With this decision, the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is clearly demonstrating its commitment to hyworx and the development activities taking place at the TGZ in Wismar.

Thanks to this funding, hyworx has secured strong financial support for its operations.

hyworx is eligible for funding under the BMWK's INVEST program

hyworx has received a notice of “eligibility determination” under the INVEST program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). This means that hyworx is eligible for funding under the BMWK funding guideline "INVEST – Grant for Venture Capital."

Upon application, investors can receive a grant toward their investment as well as tax benefits.
